The PDF in the “The iPad & the SLP in 2020 and Beyond: Interactive PDF Resource List of iOS apps, Boom Cards, Teachers Pay Teachers materials, Teletherapy Resources and Online Resources – organized by goal areas, themes and topics” blog post was updated today (1/14/21).

What’s New:

• Updated link to the various grid sizes of printable Snap Core First communication boards (in AAC section)

• The Bookish AAC’s YouTube channel & Mr. Clay’s YouTube channel (added in AAC section with COREaoke links)

• AAC Parent Coaching YouTube channel (in the Parent Activities section)

The original PDF was deleted and the new one uploaded.

It is a list of all the great kids wellness (including yoga), mindfulness & relaxation products I have personally seen. I’m sure this list will continually be a “work-in-progress” as I add things to my library.

222 Books for Kids Yoga – a Resource List from OMazing Kids Yoga (updated 7-7-12)

I just updated the resource list to add new books I have purchased since the original list was posted on 4/6/12 – (https://omazingkidsllc.com/2012/04/06/books-for-kids-yoga-a-resource-list-from-omazing-kids-yoga/). This is now a list of 222 kids picture books that would work well in a kids yoga class and includes the book title, author & themes . 

Excel document (you can sort, search & print – must have MS Excel to open): Books for Kids Yoga Resource List (from OMazing Kids Yoga) – updated 7-7-12 (Excel Version).

PDF version (you won’t be able to sort but will be able to search and print – included this for folks who don’t have Excel): Books for Kids Yoga Resource List (from OMazing Kids Yoga) – updated 7-7-12 (PDF Version).   Need help with “searching” for specific words in a PDF? It does not include kids books specifically designed for yoga or mindfulness because the list was created to be a resource for folks like parents, teachers, childcare providers, therapists, etc….   I have reviewed several great kids books specifically designed for yoga &/or mindfulness, love them all and plan on making a separate list of those soon. I have compiled this resource list of folks offering yoga classes/groups for kids & teens in Oklahoma based on what I could find online & through e-mail and Facebook correspondence. It is a work in progress so please let me know if you would like information added, removed or updated.  If I have overlooked someone who is doing yoga with kids and/or teens please let me know so I can get them added to the list.

Just in case you are wondering why I put together this resource list…..

1. We have kids & teens who benefit from yoga in my OMazing Kids Yoga groups at the JD McCarty Center in Norman, Oklahoma. Kids come to the center from all over the state and I have been looking for places to refer families to when their child discharges from the JD McCarty Center.

2. It will be nice to be able to network and collaborate with other folks doing yoga for kids & teens here in Oklahoma.
