OMazing Kids Yoga FREE mini Story Stretcher sessions – OKC Zoo – Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10:00am-12:00pm

OMazing Kids Yoga will be doing FREE mini Story Stretcher sessions (about 10-15 minutes each) in the shaded entrance area at the Oklahoma City Zoo as  part of a kids health & fitness event this Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm . Kids will have tons of fun as we stretch our bodies, breath & imagination along with a zoo-themed book. Several other activities will be available for kids to enjoy.

 This is part of the OKC Zoo “SUMMER SEASON CELEBRATION” Join the Zoo for a “fun”tastic summer event during Summer Season Celebration. On Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can enjoy a variety of craft activities, summer safety information booths, giveaways and more. This event is free with regular Zoo admission.

Kids of all abilities are invited to come experience a free movement-based story & craft to stretch their body, breath & imagination.

This activity is open to kids with and without special needs and is being offered by the Speech-Language Pathology department at the J.D. McCarty Center as part of Better Speech and Hearing Month.
