The Frog Games 1 2 3 have a basis in the app Kids Sound Lab that was nominated as one of six best apps in Education by BETT2016, world’s leading technology event, held in Britain every year. The Frog games practice all basic skills necessary for reading and are great to use on Summer vacation as a part of Summer reading and literacy preparation.

Special message from Hoppi the Frog with tips on using the apps:

1) Tap the blinking TV in the upper right corner to hear the story before starting.

2) When the child is going through the sound levels for the first time, the child needs to:

• finish all levels and get 4 stars at every level in the sound boards > other wise Hoppi frog will not jump to the next sound level.
• finish all the Sounds/Letters in every game first, step by step, through the difficulty level provided. Then the Sound/Letter boards open and the children can play as they want and go back and forth. The goal is to make sure that every child would get as much learning experience out of the program, as possible!

3) In Frog Games 1, 2 you only play with the sounds provided in the games. So the sounds you are working with are only in the initial position except /ng/ in Frog game 2. Frog game 3 has all the latest 8 sounds and but in sound recognition the sounds are compared to all sounds in Frog game 1 and 2 as well. All sounds that are not in the medial and final position in English will appear in the game to discriminate with the focus sound.
