What I LOVE about this CD:
- I am a huge fan of folk music for kids and Kira’s vocal and musical style makes you smile inside 🙂 …. I enjoy listening to it just as music as well as using it in my work with kids as a Speech-Language Pathologist & in OMazing Kids Yoga.
- The songs would be great to use in any classroom, therapy clinic & yoga studio….. the songs have universal appeal.
- Songs can tie in to specific yoga poses & the instructional book with lyrics and pics of each yoga sequence for each song is attached to the inside cover of the CD case. The yoga tracks include detailed instruction from Kira with the music playing softly in the background.

I had listened to some sample music from this CD and loved the sound of it! I couldn’t wait to share information about it to the group.. Unfortunately I did not have a copy to play to them.. So, if I won this give away I would share this CD to others who want to share the gift of yoga to children. I would also use it with the children I work with in my yoga class!
What a great resource to add to a yoga class with children!!
* I would be introducing this cd to the circle time and center time activities at my preschool. It would serve as a resource for the teachers to help bring our yoga initiative to more portions of our strictly scheduled days.
* I would be delighted to use the cd for playing yoga in my kids classes. We love dancing to Kira’s other cd especially Surfer Mama!

* Hi OMazing Kids Yoga!I love following your posts! Thanks for doing this fun give away. Kira is one of my favorite artists. It was during my last day of a year and a half Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training Program that I knew I wanted to teach kids. One of my peers shared a beautiful kids song Dance for the Sun. During our singing and sun salutation I began to cry and couldn’t stop. The song was just so sweet. I imagined myself dancing and singing with children and just the though of teaching yoga to kids filled me with joy. I had an ahaaa moment! What a beautiful thing to bring to children. As a child I had so much pressure and stress. With sports, school, singing, dancing and all of my activities I was a crazy child. Yoga would have had a huge impact on my life, attitude and behavior.
Knowing that I can teach children yoga is so much fun. I am teaching over 8 kid yoga classes and I’m having so much fun! As a young yogi myself parents are excited to send their children to my class. The kids look up to me and get excited to come to yoga class. I would put good use to this cd as I do a lot of volunteering. So far in the past 2 months I have taught over 200 children and in the month of March for National Nutrition Month I’ll be going on a school tour and to share this music with kids is not only inspirationally calming, but positive and would bring light and love to hundreds of children. Thanks for offering this fun give away. I’d love to use the cd in my classes!
* I love Kira Willey’s music! I’d use with my preschool and young school age classes as we explore pretend play and yoga movements. Some of my kiddos have special needs, such as sensory integration differences, Asperger’s Syndrome, or ADHD. Yoga is a favorite way for them to learn to focus and calm.
* I would use it to do yoga with my daughter and my afterschool yoga.

Kids and adults in my family yoga classes love Kira’s music. I would use the CD to continue engaging the students with yoga & music, bringing poses to life with Kira’s songs.
