Omazing Kids Yoga at the JD McCarty Center in Norman, Oklahoma

    We are in the process of forming additional kids yoga groups at the JD McCarty Center in Norman, Oklahoma. Age ranges for groups will be:

  • Parent/Toddler Yoga (3-4 year olds)
  • 5-8 year olds
  • 9-13 year olds
  • Gender-specific groups for teens

The groups will be open to kids with and without disabilities. Sessions will include fun basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. We will also use creative expression, games, music, positive affirmations and storytelling to promote:

  • Strength, flexibility and balance
  • Concentration, focus and attention
  • Inner strength and body awareness
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Relaxation and self-control
  • A feeling of well-being and respect for others

We want to offer sessions at times that will be the most convenient for families. To find out more information contact:

    • Hi Shakta – Thanks! I was blessed to get to take the RCY Training Levels 1 & 2 with Rebe in OKC in January of this year. I was glad to meet her before she and her family move back to Nevada. Being so far from both coasts, we don’t have hardly anyone doing kids yoga here in Oklahoma. Would love to take the RCY Level 3 if it is ever offered here in Oklahoma (we currently cannot travel out of state on my job due to limited budgets).
