I recommend the “Seven Spirals – A Chakra Sutra for Kids” book from Deena Haiber and Aimee MacDonald. A wonderful book with seven short stories about the chakras.
The book will also appear in German in September 2012 under the title “Sieben bunte Zauberkugeln” and in Creole for children in Haiti. Check out the http://www.take1teach2.com initiative to find out more.
I have used the book in kids yoga classes of all different age groups and for children of different cultural backgrounds and they are all excited about the illustrations and the stories. I will soon post some lesson plan sample ideas on my homepage http://www.devayani-yoga.com.
